Synopsis

To fulfil his dying wife’s final wish, a husband writes her a eulogy, remembering all their memories together to read it her before she leaves him forever.Inspired by true events this story is about Bridge, a female ex-rower, who had had great potential in sports. Unfortunately, she had to leave rowing, due to serious injures. After loosing the main purpose in her life, she does not see herself doing anything else besides rowing. However, she cannot get back to sports. This brings her to a depression which she tries to hide from others. Sadly, Bridge ends up having suicidal thoughts. Her mother senses that something is going wrong and understands that her daughter needs get busy with something, so she can forget about her injures for a bit. Then, mom decides to arrange a job interview for Bridge. Bridge tells that she will go, but she does not attend the interview. Mom realises that and they argue. After that mom phones Bridge’s old friend from school Jason. He comes to see Bridge and convinces her to come to a volunteer project which provides free English classes to refugees and asylum seekers.
