Today’s special segment, brought to you by our Partner twofour54’s Creative Lab, is titled, “Meet the talents working behind the scenes.”

In this specialized segment we will hear from Ellaine, a make-up artist, photographer and branding consultant for social content creation, Aiham, an Emirati filmmaker, director, producer and actor and Shaima, one of our own Zayed University Alumni, who directs, produces and does voice overs.  These three talents will give you some great tips on how to get into the ‘behind the scenes’ of the filmmaking industry. Who knows….one day you could be the next Bobbie Brown, Steven Spielberg or even Mel Blanc, the voice of Bugs Bunny.

Meet the Talents

Ellaine Fatima is licensed with twofour54 as a make-up artist, photographer and branding consultant for social content creation.  She is a self-taught make-up artist with more than 8 years’ experience in the areas of fashion, editorial, natural, bridal, event parties, creative studio, avant-garde, make-up education and hair styling.  She loves not only the artistic aspect of the job, but also showing people the beauty that lies within each one of them.

Aiham AlSubaihi is an Emirati filmmaker, director, producer and actor.  His skills set includes producing, directing, acting, script writing, content creating, project management, storytelling and scheduling.  He has worked on many projects as a Director/Producer/Assistant Producer, some of which include Iftah Ya Simsim/Sesame Street, Musk, Laymoon and Forthcoming.  He has acted in many films including Star Trek Beyond, Fast and Furious 7 and Netflix’s 6 Underground.  He is a mentor at several organizations which include New York University, Ajman Culture Centre and Sharjah Media Arts for Youth and Children.

Shaima Alammari is a graduate of Zayed University’s College of Communication and Media Sciences who directs, produces and does voice overs. Shaima is a multimedia producer at Abu Dhabi Media – Majid (its children’s brand) where she is responsible for directing and producing educational and entertaining videos for kids.  Shaima also does voice overs for cartoon characters, and recently for radio ads. Her aim and dream is to create a series that suits both family and kids.
