About the filmmaker

Helena Frade holds a BA in Cinema from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and she is a Master’s student in the Postgraduate Program in Art, Culture and Languages (UFJF – Brazil). She is an independent filmmaker, interested in handmade films, hybridisms, archival images, and themes that mix reality with fantasy.
