Gehad Darwish is the Head of Talent and Outreach at Image Nation Abu Dhabi, supporting local promising talents in media and entertainment during their journey to become successful professionals. One of his objectives is to develop and promote valuable training opportunities including Arab Film Studio, one of Abu Dhabi’s major training programs in the film industry, production internships with local and international productions through Image Nation Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Film Commission, and key internships in gaming development and visual arts under Abu Dhabi Gaming.
Fatima Al Dhaheri, a ZU Alumni, development executive at the Narrative and TV team at Image Nation Abu Dhabi (Producers of Alkameen). She holds a TV production diploma from BBC Academy. With over 12 years experience in the field, she has worked closely with many local talents in guiding them develop their projects to reality. In 2011, she was the winner of the first Arab Film Studio program with her short film ‘Something Called Fear’. She won the Arab Women Award in 2013 in the young talent category.
Ali Al-Jabri started his career in acting as a theatre actor in 1988, and has worked with many established and respectful directors such as Jawad Al-Asadi, Ouni Karroumi, and Naji Al-Hai.
In 2001, he moved his acting career to film and has since appeared in many short films, as well as features. His first feature film was called “Dream” by Hani Al Shaibani in 2005 but he is most known for his performance in the Emirati feature length film ‘The Circle’ by Nawaf Al-Janahi.
Ali has also directed four short films titled: “Smoke”, “Solo”, “Consultant”, and “Calendar”. All of which have been screened and competed at film festivals like the Dubai International Film Festival, Gulf Film Festival and Oran Film Festival in Algeria.
Ali held the position of Secretary General at the Emirates Film Competition from 2001 to 2009 and in 2010 he was Managing Director of the Emirates Film Competition.
In 2012 Ali Al Jabri was appointed Director of Abu Dhabi Film Festival and was also director of the film fund SANAD. In 2015, he was appointed Director of Media content at twofour54 Abu Dhabi.
Salwa Al Hadhrami is a Senior Production Manager at twofour54 where she managed international, regional and local productions being filmed in Abu Dhabi such as Rashash (MBC 2020 – 2021), 6 Underground ( Netflix 2018), Saaho (Bollywood 2018) and Sesame Street Middle East (2015 – 2017). She graduated from Zayed University with Bachelor degree in Communication and Media Sciences. She is the founder of an Emirati Production Company, Melbq Media Production in which she worked in a TVC for The Ministry Of Interior, collaborated with Abu Dhabi Sports channel for a sports show, Deep Breath and produced Melbq social Media show.
