Synopsis

The story of the film is about a lonely pensioner who wakes up from the sound of glass. He sees a broken window out on the balcony and underfoot lies a white dove. The pensioner puts the dead bird in a box and brings it into the room. He then sits to celebrate his wife’s birthday. When looking at the portrait of his wife he remembers the song “Oh, my dove.”

About the filmmaker

Igor Gladkov is a director of short films and documentaries whose movies have participated in international European film festivals. In 2020, he participated in the DocTrain seminar led by Marina Razbezhkina. From 2021 to 2022, he studied at the Academy of Cinematographic and Theatrical Arts N.S. Mikhalkov, Russia.
